Chapter 4 treats the family as the small form of the cosmos. The family is not only a private refuge but the place where heaven’s structure becomes visible and trainable. The chapter moves from family as throne of love to family as microcosm, then to family as the starting point of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is one of the clearest anti-individualist sections in the book.
