Chapter 2 describes the spirit world as infinite, immediate, and free from the usual pressures of time, distance, and material shortage. Yet it is not vague or formless. It is rigorously ordered by love.
Because material scarcity fades in that world, the chapter keeps relocating attention to the heart. Love becomes the atmosphere people breathe, the power by which they move, and the standard that reveals where they actually stand.
That makes this chapter less about curiosity regarding the afterlife and more about formation now. If eternity runs on love, then earthly life is training in compatibility with a very different environment from the fallen one.
