Chapter 1 treats the Blessing as a restored marriage order through which True Parents mediate rebirth, lineage change, and the beginning of a true family. It is not written as a decorative church rite.
The chapter’s main force is that the Fall damaged marriage at the root. Because false love created false parentage, restoration must pass through a new marriage order centered on God and True Parents.
It also refuses triumphal shortcut language. Receiving the Blessing starts a restored course, but Blessed Families still have to grow into the heart, purity, and responsibility the ceremony signifies.
