Book 16 says the age of restored families needs an absolute regulation like constitutional law, and identifies the Family Pledge as that rule. The pledge is therefore not merely inspirational language. It is the governing statement of the family age.

That gives the pledge civic and institutional force. A constitution does not exist to decorate a people. It exists to define their common order.

This is sermon-worthy because many churches want kingdom passion without kingdom order. Book 16 argues that love must become a people with shared norms or it never settles.
