Chapter 5 insists that the spirit world does not become ordered independently of earth. The Messiah must secure victory in history so that the corresponding spiritual realm can open in a stable way.
That reverses a common religious instinct. Salvation is not escape from history into a higher plane, but the establishment of conditions on earth that the higher plane can finally recognize and align with.
This is why the chapter treats the Messiah’s suffering and public course as structurally necessary. Without embodied victory, spiritual authority remains incomplete and untransferable.
